Spring Break

This week we are blessed to have several of the grandchildren with us. One family is here because their spring breaks fall on a different week than their parents'. The other ones are here to spend some time with the cousins that they don't get to see often enough. We have had anywhere from three to seven grandchildren at one time.
It is fun to watch them play and get a long so well with each other. Oh, sure, we have our spats every once in awhile, but what children don't? It is usually settled quickly or else Grandma gives one of her booming yells and things quiet down fast.
Last night we had the traditional pillow fights, popcorn, and rootbeer.
Tonight we had Swiss roll cakes. They were a big success, that is until one was stepped on. I wasn't the happiest about that, but they all said that it was an accident.
The mess is cleaned up, the dishes are done, and it is almost time for teeth brush, prayers said, and lights out. I think next week will be a very dull week indeed!
