Trash

As I was driving to my mother's home today, I noticed on the side of the road in several different spots that someone had seen fit to throw out trash. There were beer and soda cans, fast food wrappers, and even what looked like a soiled baby diaper. Also a long side of the road were dead carcusses of what looked like family pets.
It just makes me wonder what kind of person would just throw things like this out the car window or who wouldn't notice that their family pet was lying dead out by the road. Where is the pride? Where is the concern for our environment?
